Too young to be a Director

As a result of a performance appraisal at a City Plc where I had worked closely with the board (facilitating away-days on its future strategy), I was invited by the COO to work with one director. I used Appreciative Inquiry to increase the confidence of this director and to help him believe he had ‘gravitas’ with his own client base. I first met Cathy when she attended a sales coaching course at her company.  A couple of years later her boss (Dan) asked me to coach her after feed back from their team that “everyone was scared of Cathy.”

Upon her return, Marianne requested some further 1:1 coaching to support her transition back to work.
